Where Have I Been?! [Update]

It’s been awhile!

Honestly, I had lost track of how much time had passed since I decided to take a blogging break. I thought I owed it to my readers and friends to let you know where I’ve been, what I have planned for the future, and what’s going on in my pretty little head. Read more

Blogging Break

Blogging Break

Happy Sunday everyone!

I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking a break from blogging for a little while. I know it will be a minimum of a couple of weeks, but it may be longer. I’ve just been very stressed lately and blogging has become something that I have to tick off on my to-do list. I started blogging as something that would be fun and never wanted it to become something I had to do so, for my sanity and the quality of my work, I’m taking a break.

I thank all of you for your support!! I’ll still be lurking around on social media and reading others’ blogs, I just won’t be writing new content temporarily.

Love you all! ❤

Rodan & Fields Night Renewing Serum and Lip Serum–Review

Rodan & Fields Night Renewing Serum and Lip Serum–Review

If you didn’t read my review on Rodan & Fields’ Microdermabrasion paste, then you need to asap! It has quickly become a favorite product to sloth off dead skin cells.

I mentioned in that post that I received these products in exchange for an honest review and that I had two more products to tell you about. Today it’s about the Night Renewing Serum and the Lip Renewing Serum. Read more

Rodan & Fields: Microdermabrasion Paste

Rodan & Fields: Microdermabrasion Paste

For the next two posts, I’ll be doing reviews on three Rodan and Fields products that I was able to sample recently.

The Microdermabrasion Paste is in a little packet, but the full size is sold in a 125mL tub. Microdermabrasion, itself, is an exfoliation treatment that uses fine crystals, a diamond tipped piece of equipment, or other such method to remove the dead skin cells from your skin. Exfoliation is a key method to rejuvenating skin and helping the cell turnover process along.

Etude House Green Tea Nose Pack–Review

Etude House Green Tea Nose Pack–Review

I’m not a huge nose pack/strip connoisseur. In an attempt to rid my nose of blackheads during my teen years, I tried dozens of different nose strips. My mom actually gave me some of these Etude House Green Tea Nose Packs to try as she preferred another brand. I didn’t expect too much, but I was quite surprised!

Hair Oils: Tresemme vs. Moroccan Oil

Hair Oils: Tresemme vs. Moroccan Oil

I have fine hair that can get dry and frizzy. It’s not a great look in the Winter or Summer. I used to just throw my hair into a ponytail or bun when I didn’t want to deal with it (often), but I’ve been trying to be nicer to my hair.

I started experimenting with hair oils to see what would make my hair happy. I knew it would be tough because I needed something that would add shine and control frizz, but wouldn’t weigh down my delicate hair.

The first hair oil I tried was by Tresemme, but you’ll soon see why I ditched that (well, after I diligently and reluctantly finished the bottle) and found my new love: Moroccan Oil. Oops! I gave away the surprise! 😉

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion–Review

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion–Review

With my normal to oily skin, I use my Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream in the Summer, but use mostly cushion compacts in the Winter because cushion compacts are more moisturizing to me. I’ve tried the IOPE Air Cushion Compact and really loved it, so I wanted more.

The Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is a pretty well known product in the k-beauty world. It seems that people either love it or they don’t care for it. I received a deluxe sample of it a while back (enough for a few weeks’ worth or applications) and felt ready to share my views on it.
