I have fine hair that can get dry and frizzy. It’s not a great look in the Winter or Summer. I used to just throw my hair into a ponytail or bun when I didn’t want to deal with it (often), but I’ve been trying to be nicer to my hair.
I started experimenting with hair oils to see what would make my hair happy. I knew it would be tough because I needed something that would add shine and control frizz, but wouldn’t weigh down my delicate hair.
The first hair oil I tried was by Tresemme, but you’ll soon see why I ditched that (well, after I diligently and reluctantly finished the bottle) and found my new love: Moroccan Oil. Oops! I gave away the surprise! 😉
I realized that I haven’t reviewed many hair products on my blog. It may be because I have my own not-so-great routine that I use and, if that doesn’t work, then I throw my hair into a bun and go.
I received a sample of Hairkop’s Obliphica Treatment Hair Serum from a giveaway that I won and I knew I needed to review it on The Pretty Pomegranate.
I’m pretty sure, most days, my hair hates me. The roots fall flat and the ends frizz up. God forbid I try to skip a day without a wash. Then my scalp, much like my T-zone, becomes oily and slick, and refuses to cooperate with me at all.
If you’ve dealt with this problem, then you’ve probably also tried at least one dry shampoo. I’ve tried a few brands over the years, more being a waste of money than not, and decided it was high time to compare the two latest products that I’ve been using.
The city that I lived in before didn’t have a Lush store anywhere near me so I was left drooling over their website and other bloggers’ review and haul posts. When we moved, I discovered that there’s a Lush right in our mall and I vowed that I would go in and try some bath products.
So this post just shows you what I got. It’s not a large haul by a long shot–I only bought two items–but I’m super excited about them anyway. 😉 Read more
