Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you! I hope you have a great day filled with love and happiness. Valentine’s Day shouldn’t just be about couples, but celebrate all love in your life. The love of friends, parents, siblings… anyone!
Thankfully, I’m off work today so the Hubby and I will probably just take a much needed relaxation day. I’ll see you again on Tuesday! ❤
Let’s get social!
Well, I’ve reached this point.
Starting now, I will be embarking on a three month long no-buy of skin care and makeup products. Admittedly, I bought some things in “preparation” for this drought period, but hey… it’s the effort, right?
I’ve been nominated not once, but twice for The Beauty Blogger Award! Once was by Just Being Julz and the other was by All About Leanne. Each time I’m nominated for one of these blogger awards, I’m so happy and flattered that my little blog is getting recognition from other bloggers. I may not be able to do every single one, but I try my best!
The rules for The Beauty Bloggers Award are to answer the questions given, nominate 10 other beauty or fashion bloggers, and give them questions. Read more
Welcome to day two of my Sheet Mask Marathon! If you aren’t up to date, you can check out my intro post here and also day one, which highlighted Etude House’s Tea Tree mask.
Let’s get started!
Today is all about the snail. If you haven’t already delved into the k-beauty world, then you may not have heard of snail as a beauty ingredient orrr… you have and thought “gross!”. But before marking it off as atrocious, think about the science behind it. Read more
My new job has been kicking my butt. I find that when I get home, I’m too exhausted to think about doing anything even mildly productive (that includes blogging). On days I’m not working I’m still exhausted, but have housework and other things to get done that I wouldn’t otherwise have the time for. That leaves me scrambling to keep up with my blog schedule that I had, only a month ago, been way ahead of. *sigh* For the next couple of weeks, I may drop off one regularly schedule post day (I’m currently on Sun, Tues, Thurs), until I can get my bearings back.
So today will be slightly different. I was nominated (a couple of weeks ago, sorry!) for The Blogger Recognition Award by fivezero. This is one I haven’t been nominated for and I love reading fivezero’s ideas and humor. Read more
Happy October 1st!
Okay, so it’s not a “special” day or a holiday, but I like the first day of October because (to me) it really signifies that Fall has started. Cooler weather is coming, longer nights are creeping in, boots and sweaters are cleaned and in the wardrobe ready to be worn.
For me, the new season also means Read more
Today is mine and Hubby’s third wedding anniversary. I wasn’t planning on mentioning it too much on the blog because, despite being a Leo, I feel awkward with a lot of personal attention. But our wedding day, September 22, just so happened to correspond with my regular posting schedule so I thought I’d do a “photos” post of some of my favorite images from our wedding day. Warning: wedding mushiness ahead! Read more
Hey guys! I’ve been nominated for another award (whoo hoo!), this time by Janine at A Beautiful Whim. I apologize for posting this so late!! Janine’s blog is one of my favs so you should definitely go check her out. She’s got lifestyle, beauty, and even blog tips to help keep you informed and entertained!
I just wanted to pop in for a second to give you an update on the situation with The Pretty Pomegranate. I’m all moved in to my new place and very excited to get everything set up! The only problem is that… getting everything set up. We’ve been tired, hungry, claustrophobic (with all the boxes everywhere), and tired again.
The bad part is that Read more
Hi Lovelies! I was nominated by the Nerdy Librarian Girl for the Post A Quote Challenge. Thank you so much!
I thought this would be a great time to do the challenge as I have been super busy lately and have fallen behind on trying new products (yikes!). Not to worry, though, I have quite a few products in the works. Read more
