Where Have I Been?! [Update]

Where Have I Been?! [Update]

It’s been awhile!

Honestly, I had lost track of how much time had passed since I decided to take a blogging break. I thought I owed it to my readers and friends to let you know where I’ve been, what I have planned for the future, and what’s going on in my pretty little head. Read more

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk in BE106–Review

Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk in BE106–Review

On a recent order for a fresh batch of makeup and skin care, I purchased the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk in BE106. Admittedly, I didn’t need a new lipstick–I have a collection in my bag already–but I’d read such great reviews that I had to try it myself.

Spoilers: I may be in love.

EGLips EZ Quick Makeup Remover–Review

EGLips EZ Quick Makeup Remover–Review

I’ll be honest and say that it wasn’t until recently that I even considered using a separate product to remove my eye makeup. A couple of years ago my routine consisted of one cleanser (quick, rough swipes… eek!) and slapping on whatever moisturizer was cheapest at the drug store.

My, how times have changed.

Now that my makeup stash has been growing and I’ve been enjoying playing with new looks and products, I needed something more to remove my makeup. I’ll admit, I bought this product solely because it wasn’t very expensive. I hadn’t seen too many reviews and really just wanted to throw one in my virtual shopping cart and be done.

The Face Shop Mango Seed Glow Date-Prep Butter–Review

The Face Shop Mango Seed Glow Date-Prep Butter–Review

I’m a married lady now. Gone are the days of feigning that I have perfect hair/skin/nails/teeth/personality. Hubby sees me when I first wake up in the morning (before I even realize I have a huge zit on my forehead), he sees me at before we go to bed (pink acne cream dotted across my cheeks), and he sees my when I’m sick (pretending to be Puff the Magic Dragon with tissue stuffed up my nostrils).

But that doesn’t mean I don’t still at least try.

Cue The Face Shop’s Mango Seed Glow Date-Prep Butter. On TFS’s website: “A must-have date-prep butter that delivers moisture and a fair glowing complexion to increase your date‚Äôs attraction.”

Ooh, so this magical cream can increase my attraction? I’ll take it! ūüėČ

Sheet Mask Marathon Day 1: Etude House Tea Tree Oil

Sheet Mask Marathon Day 1: Etude House Tea Tree Oil

Whoo hoo! Day 1 of my Sheet Mask Marathon. I’ll be highlighting some sheet masks that I’ve used during this week to show some of the many different options you have for sheet masks. For info about what’s going on, read my¬† intro here.

Etude House is a Korean brand that markets skincare products as well as makeup and even some accessories. They specialize in cute and pretty packaging. I’ve read that their demographic is more geared towards teens and young women, but I feel like a lot of women enjoy the princess feel from time to time.

Sheet Mask Marathon: Begin!

Sheet Mask Marathon: Begin!

MaskerAide_directions

I’ve been planning this week for quite some time and I’m so excited that it’s finally here! I feel like sheet masks are all so similar to each other that I don’t feel that a bunch of individual reviews are necessary. That’s why I hardly ever review just sheet masks, but they deserve their time in the limelight. It was after this thought that my Sheet Mask Marathon¬†was born and¬†I decided to devote a week to sheet masks! I’ll be looking at just a few types of sheet masks, brands, and ingredients.

Sheet masks hail from Korea where they first grew popularity. They’ve since come to the West where even celebrities are posting selfies using their favorite sheet masks (see Lady Gaga and Demi Moore below). Most of these masks are cotton sheets packed in essence, but there are many different types popping up now that could still be considered sheet mask: hydrogel, bio-cellular, and more. There’s even masks for your neck, hands, and feet. Seriously! Read more

TonyMoly Timeless Ferment Snail Cream

TonyMoly Timeless Ferment Snail Cream

If it’s got snails, I want it on my face. In one short year I’ve gone from thinking snails were gross, to loving just about any snail skincare product and thinking they’re actually kind of adorable. Weird, right?

I got a few samples of TonyMoly’s Timeless Ferment Snail Cream in the mail a few weeks back and put it on my “must try” list. TonyMoly is more well known for their cute products like this adorable panda¬†or these irresistible hand creams. This snail cream, however, is a different side of TonyMoly. It’s their sophisticated, mature side.

TonyMoly I’m Real Tea Tree Lotion–Review

I’m a tea tree lover. I love the smell, I love the name, and I love that it shrinks up any acne that may have popped up on my skin within a matter of days (or hours…). So when I received this sample of Tony Moly’s I’m Real Tea Tree Sebum and Pore Lotion I was jumping for joy. Tea tree? Check. Control oil? Check. Shrink those pores? Check.

In the Asian beauty world, lip tints rule. Well, not quite, but they’re pretty prominent in fashion. The gradient lip (usually achieved with a tint) is something that has become quite popular by teens, young women, and celebrities alike. So of course I was excited to get my hands on a new tint! This RiRe lip tint arrived in my Lucky Box by Memebox which I did a haul post of here.

Skinfood Gold Kiwi Sunscreen–Review

Skinfood Gold Kiwi Sunscreen–Review

I know that summer is wrapping up as we speak (err… type…) but sunscreen is so important year round. We are most aware of the sun’s rays when we are melting in the summer heat, but the UV damage can happen in the winter time, too.

That’s why I decided to go ahead and try the Skinfood Gold Kiwi Sun Cream for you guys and post my review. I did hesitate for a moment before deciding to schedule this because swimsuits and maxi dresses are being traded for scarfs and knee boots (at least for us in the¬†Northern hemisphere!), but this is still an important and relevant product!
