It’s been awhile!
Honestly, I had lost track of how much time had passed since I decided to take a blogging break. I thought I owed it to my readers and friends to let you know where I’ve been, what I have planned for the future, and what’s going on in my pretty little head. Read more
Happy Sunday everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that I will be taking a break from blogging for a little while. I know it will be a minimum of a couple of weeks, but it may be longer. I’ve just been very stressed lately and blogging has become something that I have to tick off on my to-do list. I started blogging as something that would be fun and never wanted it to become something I had to do so, for my sanity and the quality of my work, I’m taking a break.
I thank all of you for your support!! I’ll still be lurking around on social media and reading others’ blogs, I just won’t be writing new content temporarily.
Love you all! ❤
Let’s get social!
I’m not a huge nose pack/strip connoisseur. In an attempt to rid my nose of blackheads during my teen years, I tried dozens of different nose strips. My mom actually gave me some of these Etude House Green Tea Nose Packs to try as she preferred another brand. I didn’t expect too much, but I was quite surprised!
With my normal to oily skin, I use my Skin79 Hot Pink BB Cream in the Summer, but use mostly cushion compacts in the Winter because cushion compacts are more moisturizing to me. I’ve tried the IOPE Air Cushion Compact and really loved it, so I wanted more.
The Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion is a pretty well known product in the k-beauty world. It seems that people either love it or they don’t care for it. I received a deluxe sample of it a while back (enough for a few weeks’ worth or applications) and felt ready to share my views on it.
At the beginning of the new year I decided that I wanted to bring a series to the blog. I love doing review and haul posts, but I wanted a little more regularity to add in to the content. I love reading bloggers’ posts about monthly empties, hauls, and the like, but the one thing I really love to read is about their favorite products of the month.
I blog mostly about beauty products, which was obviously intended, but I have found that I like blogging about lifestyle topics, too. So, with my new series, I’ve decided to Read more
On a recent order for a fresh batch of makeup and skin care, I purchased the Etude House Dear My Blooming Lips Talk in BE106. Admittedly, I didn’t need a new lipstick–I have a collection in my bag already–but I’d read such great reviews that I had to try it myself.
Spoilers: I may be in love.
I’ve been nominated not once, but twice for The Beauty Blogger Award! Once was by Just Being Julz and the other was by All About Leanne. Each time I’m nominated for one of these blogger awards, I’m so happy and flattered that my little blog is getting recognition from other bloggers. I may not be able to do every single one, but I try my best!
The rules for The Beauty Bloggers Award are to answer the questions given, nominate 10 other beauty or fashion bloggers, and give them questions. Read more
I really love cleansing foams. I double cleanse at the end of the day (using an oil based cleanser first, followed by a water based foam cleanser) and the second step is one I always look forward to. I had a back stock of my Murad Pomegranate Foaming Cleanser, but as I was running out, I wanted to find a Korean alternative that was, preferably, more inexpensive.
I stumbled across the Missha Strawberry Latte Cleansing Foam and, at only about 5 bucks, figured why not?
Propolis is an interesting little skin care ingredient. It’s actually a resin found in trees that honey bees use as a type of “glue” to help form their honey combs. It’s been used in skin care for it’s antibacterial and healing properties, making it useful for those with acne and redness.
That’s exactly why I was so excited to try out the Skinfood Royal Honey Propolis Essence!
So many secrets! 😉
That was a long title, but the brand for this product is Secret Key. The name of the product is Secret Perfume Peeling Body Scrub, but that’s a little misleading. It isn’t a “scrub” but a peeling gel. Peeling gels are chemical exfoliators that, when massaged into the skin, exfoliate dead skin cell layers, causing them to ball up. It’s a wonderfully disgusting product that I’ve pretty much fallen in love with (spoilers!).
