Oh, TJ Maxx, you get me in trouble sometimes.
A few weeks ago, I went into TJ Maxx to look for some clothes. I came out with no clothes (warranting a trip to Target next door) and with cosmetics instead. One of those items was this box of lip masks by Jean Pierre Cosmetics.
Yay! It’s day eight of my Sheet Mask Marathon! This is the last day of the featured sheet masks! I hope you enjoyed seeing different types and textures of masks and maybe even placed some orders of your own to try. Tomorrow wraps up the marathon and also features a fun surprise so I hope you’ll stay tuned! If you need to catch up, you can check out the intro here. After that, see the other days:
Day 1 (featuring Etude House Tea Tree),
Day 2 (featuring Nature Republic Snail),
Day 3 (featuring Mediheal WHP Charcoal and Mineral),
Day 4 (featuring Vandeo Marine Algae),
Day 5 (featuring My Beauty Diary Diamond & Caviar),
Day 6 (featuring Freeset Donkey Milk Healing),
and Day 7 (featuring Annie’s Way Seaweed).
Day 8 is all about Skin Factory’s Real Honey Moisturizing Ampoule Mask. Honey has been known as an anti-inflammatory and to help with infection, making it great for acne sufferers (like me). This is my first Skin Factory product but they claim to be “the #1 humanist brand” because they use the “best ingredients”. They also have a “five-free” line which is free of colorants, parabens, pigments, ethanol, and mineral oil.

Oh, Skinfood. Will our love affair ever end?
Probably not anytime soon. Today is all about Skinfood’s Black Pomegranate Volumizing Serum. I’ve reviewed the Black Pomegranate Toner and Cream (here) and really liked the line so far. The Black Pomegranate line of products is geared towards anti-aging and brightening.
If you didn’t get a chance to read my review of the other Black Pomegranate products (you should!), then I’ll let you know that black pomegranates are chock full of antioxidants, like many other fruits. In particular, black pomegranates contain high amounts ellagic acid (a type of antioxidant). This helps with dullness. It also contains ingredients like macadamia seed oil, pomegranate seed oil, and biotin that helps with brightness, wrinkles, and overall tone/texture. Read more
The city that I lived in before didn’t have a Lush store anywhere near me so I was left drooling over their website and other bloggers’ review and haul posts. When we moved, I discovered that there’s a Lush right in our mall and I vowed that I would go in and try some bath products.
So this post just shows you what I got. It’s not a large haul by a long shot–I only bought two items–but I’m super excited about them anyway. 😉 Read more
Hey everyone! I hope you’ve had a great Monday so far!
I’m taking a moment, today, to branch away from the East Asian brands and tell you guys about a serum that I’ve been using by OZ Naturals. When I had the opportunity to work with them to test run their Hyaluronic Serum, I jumped at the chance. They have a pretty impressive list of qualities: cruelty-free, vegan and natural ingredients, and (for the Americans) made in the USA.
