Sheet Mask Marathon Wrap Up & Giveaway!

Well, this is it. I hope you enjoyed the Sheet Mask Marathon! I put a ton of blood, sweat, and tears into it. I showcased eight different sheet masks types and brands, but there are so, so many more! I hope this has helped you start your journey of sheet masking, if you’re new to it, and maybe find something new if you’ve tried some before.

Here’s links to all of the days if you want to look back on any of them:

Intro

Day 1 Etude House Tea Tree

Day 2 Nature Republic Snail Solution

Day 3 Mediheal WHP Charcoal and Mineral

Day 4 Vanedo Marine Algae

Day 5 My Beauty Diary Diamond & Caviar

Day 6 Freeset Donkey Milk Healing

Day 7 Annie’s Way Seaweed

Day 8 Skin Factory Real Honey Ampoule

If I had to choose a favorite, it would probably be the Mediheal WHP Charcoal and Mineral mask that was featured on Day 3. I have since bought a whole other stash of just these to rescue me when my skin is dull, dry, and flaring up. Love them!!

Now, the fun part…

The Face Shop Rice Oil Cleanser–Review

The Face Shop Rice Oil Cleanser–Review

It seems like I always end up trying trends backwards. I was addicted to sheet masks before I even tried my first Korean BB cream, I didn’t like matte lipsticks until after their peak, and I tried a “solid” version of an oil cleanser before an actual oil. Oy vey!

If you hadn’t heard, oil cleansers are great for those with oily skin because oil breaks down oil. It may sound counter intuitive, but cleansing with an oil at the end of the day can help to sweep away all that excess sebum that has built up. Oil cleansers also break down your stubborn, oil based makeup with ease, thus preparing your skin for the second cleanse step: the foaming cleanser. But we’ll leave the foam for another day. 😉

My first actual oil cleanser experience was with The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil. Phew! That’s a mouthful.

TonyMoly Timeless Ferment Snail Cream

TonyMoly Timeless Ferment Snail Cream

If it’s got snails, I want it on my face. In one short year I’ve gone from thinking snails were gross, to loving just about any snail skincare product and thinking they’re actually kind of adorable. Weird, right?

I got a few samples of TonyMoly’s Timeless Ferment Snail Cream in the mail a few weeks back and put it on my “must try” list. TonyMoly is more well known for their cute products like this adorable panda or these irresistible hand creams. This snail cream, however, is a different side of TonyMoly. It’s their sophisticated, mature side.

Foam cleansers are my weakness. I love frothing up a good cleanser in my hands and feeling the tiny bubbles do their cleaning magic while I give myself a nice facial massage. So when I received a sample of Happy Bath’s Soapberry Cleansing Foam, I was excited!

Everyone, everywhere has been predicting the rise of the cushion compact. Michelle Phan mentions it here and here, Into the Gloss raves about it here, and South Korean women have been utilizing its benefits for awhile already.  I did my own research to find out more about them.

So what is it?

Hi everyone!

I wanted to give you guys my review of Skinfood’s Black Sugar Perfect First Serum. It’s a serum, but it has the consistency of an essence which is very thin and watery. It is for dull, dryish skin that could use some exfoliation and moisturization.

OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Serum–Review

OZ Naturals Hyaluronic Serum–Review

Hey everyone! I hope you’ve had a great Monday so far!

I’m taking a moment, today, to branch away from the East Asian brands and tell you guys about a serum that I’ve been using by OZ Naturals. When I had the opportunity to work with them to test run their Hyaluronic Serum, I jumped at the chance. They have a pretty impressive list of qualities: cruelty-free, vegan and natural ingredients, and (for the Americans) made in the USA.
