I assume you’re here because you want to know more about this blog (and maybe a little about the author)?

The Pretty Pomegrante was started so that I could share my love for beauty and skincare with the world. I am always testing something new or discovering another hidden gem and I wanted to tell others about my experiences. I specifically have been drawn to Asian (mostly Korean and some Japanese) products and highlight that in my product selections. This blog is to help connect those that want to learn, share, and grow in their love of beauty, skincare, cosmetics, and community. I post three times a week on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

I do mostly “first impressions” of products which means I have used them a few times or have tried samples and have given my opinion so far. I will also do more extended trials if I have the resources. I honestly don’t like buying products unless I know I like them or won’t have a bad reaction to them. I’m just too broke frugal for that! So just know that if I buy a product that I sampled, then I must really like it. 😉 I know that quite a few other bloggers (especially in the Asian beauty world) do extended reviews.

As for the author? My name is Yasmine (but my friends call me Yazzi). I am a twenty-something university student in the Southeastern United States. I am happily married to the sweetest guy and we have the cutest boxer/hound ever and the meanest old maid cat… ever. I’m an odd mix of introverted people person and I love to read others’ blogs to connect and learn.
