Elizavecca Milky Piggy Clay Mask–Review

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Clay Mask–Review

I hope you have your seatbelts on you guys because I have an interesting find for you today!

I was perusing the Memebox website because why not when my eyes landed on this bad boy. It was on sale and I was about to score myself free shipping so into the shopping cart it went. For details on the rest of my Memebox haul and how my experience was, click here.

The product that I bought was the Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask. Yep, that’s a mouthful!

This cute little tub is packed with green tea, aloe, matcha powder (yum!), charcoal, pomegranate, and a slew of other natural ingredients which help to tighten pores, control oil production, and deep clean your skin. It’s formulated to react with the air once applied. The instructions say to apply to a dry face and that it can even remove makeup. You don’t put this on your eyes and I would need to wash off my eye makeup anyways so I’ve only used it with a clean dry face.

It also comes with a tiny cute spatula so that you can scoop out a chestnut size amount for your face.

I’m not going to lie. It looks pretty gross in the tub. It’s a thick, slimy texture that’s almost snot-like. And it’s gray. Buuut, as with most Korean beauty products, it actually smells really nice and fresh. So, I cleansed my face, dried it, and dug out the scoop!

It applies just like most other clay or wash off masks. I noticed, to my surprise, that it started to bubble almost immediately. I spread an even layer over my face and set the timer for the recommended five minutes. At first the mask bubbled…

Then it kept bubbling…

And before I knew it, I realized that I put it too close to my nose!!

After five minutes of tingling, bubbly, ticklely, fun you can gently massage the mask over your skin then rinse. After rinsing, my skin felt so smooth, soft, and noticeably brighter. I was super impressed! I would say you could use this about 1-3 times a week depending on your need and, for me, after continued use, my acne calmed and my skin became bright and fresh. Love!!

I give Elizavecca’s Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask 4.5 pomegranates! It smelled so fresh, gave awesome results, and was seriously so fun to use! Plus, you only need to use it for five minutes at a time which makes it a pretty convenient mask. I felt like my skin was so clean afterwards!

    1. It’s so worth a try! I’ve been using it regularly and have loved how soft and smooth my skin feels. Plus, it’s around $10-12 and I’ve gotten a ton of uses out of it and still have 3/4 of the package left. Yay for thriftiness! haha 😉
