Murad Hydrating Toner–Review

TGIF everybody! I hope you had a great week! What are your plans for the coming weekend?

I wanted to do a review, today, for a product that I use daily: Murad’s Hydrating Toner. I know quite a few of you have expressed interest in Murad products and, since I use this often, I wanted to share some about this.

Murad is a line developed by Dr. Howard Murad. He believes that in addition to treating our skin topically, we should also nourish our bodies and minds in order to achieve healthy, beautiful skin. So on Murad campaigns and media, you will see not only information about their various creams, serums, and cleansers, but you will see healthy recipes and tips for activities like meditation. I used to work for a company that sold Murad products and this is how I was turned on to the brand.

As for this specific product, it claims that it is great for hydrating skin. It is alcohol, paraben, and sulfate free. It also contains grape seed, peach, and cucumber extracts. It does, however, contain witch hazel which may dry the skin for some.

I use this every night after cleansing and before putting on anything else. In the winter, I will do every morning as well if needed. I do have dry cheeks and an oily T-zone so I don’t desperately need the hydration. The scent is very light and refreshing. I feel like you can pick up some of the peach and/or cucumber in the scent. I love (I mean, seriously,Β love) that it has a spray top. I mean, you could theoretically do this with almost any other toner, but it’s just the greatest idea. I can cleanse, spritz my face, then move on.

I don’t feel like it moisturizes the best, but for me it works well. I also feel like it helps with redness and hyperpigmentation some as well.

I rate Murad’s Hydrating Toner four pomegranates because I like the scent, the ease of use, and the effectiveness. I do wish that it were a little more hydrating, though.

  1. I’ve only tried a few Murad things and I’ve really enjoyed the things I’ve tried – they quite expensive though. I remember really liking their lip balm and eye cream. Their products always smell so good too!

  2. Great review! I have heard of Murad but I’ve never tried any of their products and I don’t know very much about them. This toner sounds really nice though! πŸ™‚ xo

    1. Murad is great! There’s a lot of products that I really like (that I plan to review in the future) but, unfortunately three are a few that I don’t like so much. Haha! This toner is definitely one of my favorites though! Thanks for stopping by πŸ˜€
